A busy day...

Well, today was fairly busy for me. I'm newly free on Mondays and Wednesdays for five hours each day so I try to cram as much in to those ten hours a week that I possibly can. So...today, I got up around 6, got Sydney fed and ready for school, got the other two girls up and presentable to take Big Sis to school and headed out. After dropping off Sydweena, we ran back to the house, finished getting them ready for Preschool and then headed out again! By now, I'm already a little tired, but I press on.

After running back home and grabbing a check, I run to the bank, then to Chick-Fil-A, and then off to get Holly to do a little shopping. Cake shopping. I'm doing a wedding cake in October that I need new pans for, so we set out to Balch Springs of all places to go to a specific place and I get my pans! After finishing, we have some extra time. What do girls do when they have extra time? Do we go to the mall? No. Do we go get our nails done? Nope. Do we go get a much needed massage? Not no, but heck no! We go to HOME DEPOT! I got paint, brushes, pans, rollers, a ceiling fan for Graci Lou's room, tape, a little this, a little that. Oh, and Chalkboard paint! I almost forgot about that! I told Holly that it felt good being a girl, coming out of Home Depot with two carts full of stuff. Makes me feel like I've accomplished something! Here's Graci's new fan!

After my outing, I went and picked up my babies and got the two oldest ready for their gym class, sent them packing with their daddy and made dinner. When they got home, we sat down to another disappointing new recipe, had bath time, got the girls in bed and we're now relaxing watching the Cowboys game!

Now, on to tomorrow. My goal for tomorrow is to have every common area of my house cleaned up and our bedroom. I plan on ordering new bedding for us soon and want it to be as clean as possible when I finally get the 'Big Girl Room' of my dreams! The furniture is there and the walls are painted, but I have crappy bedding on my beautiful bed. I want a beautiful bedspread, quilt or comforter and pillows for days! Ahhh...I can't wait! Maybe it'll be something like this...
