Behavior Issues and Streaking

Hmm...I'm struggling with what to write. That's pretty bad, considering this is only my second post.

I think I'll start with behavior. We're kind of struggling with that in Kindergarten. Sydney was in the PPCD class at Dickinson the last two years. Not one time did she come home with a negative mark in her folder. This year has been a much different story. We've been in school three weeks now, and she's come home twice having had to sign the 'behavior book.' Well, I say sign. She's probably made her mark with an X or something...since she can't write her name! Her teacher believes that the behavior is because of frustration and I agree with her 100%. Sydney gets frustrated easily when she can't do things right. Her motor skills are not wonderful at this point and it's hard for her to do some of the easiest things. She's getting better though and with the help of her OT, I'm sure she'll be fine this year. I just hate seeing her getting in trouble when she's never been in trouble there before, and even more than that, I hate that she's struggling in any way! I want for things to be easy as pie for her! I know that's an unrealistic thing and that things aren't always easy, but I want them to be. I don't want her struggling at all after all she's been through in her young life!

Lets see...what's next. How about the fact that my youngest child won't keep her pants on. There's a change in direction for you. Audrey is two and just now showing signs that she's probably on her way to beginning potty training. What she does, is if she's teetee'd in her diaper, she'll strip it off as soon as she's done and either leaves it where she took it off, or brings it to me if Graci has tattled on her. Four or five times a day Graci will run out yelling, "Audrey don't got no pants on!!" She's very proud of this act. Like it's something that I've taught her and she's finally mastered it and is going to keep doing it until something new comes along. Hopefully something new will come along very soon. Lets just hope that new thing is no making a mess on the carpet once the diaper is off!

I should probably stop here. My three year old keeps asking me if it's time for her to get on the computer. I figure since she's more advanced on it than I am, I'll let her play for a while.
